Twist Launch Event

Long-standing collaborators, Pinch Food Design and The Gathery came together to celebrate the launch of Twist, a full-service artisan cocktail company developed to service the industry’s need to offer craft cocktails at scale. Inspired by the avant-garde cocktail devices developed by the sought-after caterers, our design included a series of site-specific sculptures where guests experienced the creative cycle through each of its stages: ideation, concept, design, and execution. A maximalist assemblage comprised of a rolling sea of cocktail glassware surprised guests as they entered the event space while a second minimalist sculpture made of a series of glassware crates reminded them that even the most obvious objects possess beauty when treated with creativity. The main entertaining space was transformed into a cathedral-like environment fashioned out of pine, cement and wrapped cellophane providing individual ‘altars’ to the new cocktail devices.
