Spring Gala

Hosted at the soon-to-be Mast Brothers Chocolate Factory and Brewery at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, our Creative Time event design was derived from a visual reduction of honoree Craig Robbins' hometown, Miami. Clean and modern installations made entirely of painted white press boards stood as a metaphor for the fresh start the organization has gone through in recent months with its new leadership team. A monochromatic white color palette that informed design, lighting and food slowly cycled through muted pastel colors transforming the 45,000 square-foot warehouse every hour. Co-honoree Rirkrit Tiravanija’s developed unique edible cocktail concoctions for presenting sponsor Bombay Sapphire and the socially-engaged phrase for collectible dinner napkins.
