H&M

H&M x Moschino Pop-up

November 2018

H&M’s anticipated annual designer collaborations have produced one successful collection after another - from Margiela and Alex Wang to Versace and Lanvin - the fashion-forward retailer never seizes to honor their commitment to mass-inclusiveness bringing stylish fans closer to the brands they love.

For its latest collaboration, H&M x Moschino, The Gathery created a highly-immersive pop-up at H&M’s Fifth Avenue flagship inspired by the brand’s pop-culture obsessed designer Jeremy Scott. Mining the desire for highly-consumable consumer-generated content and referencing the colorful cultural pastiche omnipresent in the collection, we developed and produced a larger-than-life installation where guests could step into the latest campaign. Entering a giant retro-television, visitors where prompted to choose a custom animated background inspired by the collection’s bold prints where they could instantly create highly-shareable videos that helped tease out and build momentum surrounding the collection’s launch date.
