2016 Holiday Press Preview
Inspired by Sephora’s latest campaign, The Gathery developed a vibrant press preview in the heart of New York’s Chelsea district that took editors “home for the holidays”. Guests discovered five traditional home environments completely decoupaged in custom wrapping paper developed by photographing key beauty products from the latest season and derived from the make-up giant’s seasonal color palette. Each vignette served as a whimsical showroom tended to by models styled in looks referencing the brand’s recognizable black and white stripes. Part Wes Anderson movie set, part pop-art installation, the inviting setting evoked the warmth and joy of the Christmas season.
