For Modern Love Season 2 premiere, Amazon Prime Video and Fire TV joined forces to celebrate the show’s debut aboard Grand Banks on a balmy August evening. Inspired by the city that never sleeps and the New York Times lauded column, attendees reveled under the stars with the city skyline as their backdrop.

Grand Banks is an oyster bar located in a historic wooden schooner built by hand in 1942. Clever and charming nautical details were displayed throughout the event, bringing a sense of romance and possibility to the Hudson.

Jazz band Baby Soda posed as street musicians as they serenaded guests down Pier 25. In our Captain’s Quarters, guests were treated to a surprise from Amazon’s Alexa, with her setting just the right mood triggered by a voice control.

At sundown, a nearby sailboat floated by, with a sneak peek of the new season projected onto its sails for an unforgettable end to the evening. Projected with the Amazon Fire TV Stick, the surprise dazzled guests and showcased the device’s ability to deliver quality content wherever audiences may be.
