account executive
The Gathery is seeking an Account Manager / Executive with event and/or experiential background to join our team!
From concepting to development to execution, this position requires a resourceful candidate who excels in communication skills, creative problem solving, is highly organized, and detail oriented. In this role, you will be working directly with the Account Directors of our company as they ideate, pitch and sell programs to clients. You will learn how to take client objectives and KPIs and translate them into creative marketing solutions in an award-winning environment. Then, you will help bring our programs to life by working alongside a highly skilled and experienced in-house production team, and communicating daily with our clients and their partners.
We seek candidates who are culturally savvy in tune with the worlds of art, design, fashion, music and travel. A background in luxury, media, hospitality and non-profit sectors are considered an asset. You must work well under pressure, have great people skills, assist with scheduling of key team members, and draft summaries and meeting notes. Candidates must have 2-5 years of experience in a strategy or creative capacity preferably with previous experience working within the luxury, media, hospitality or non-profit sectors. Editorial background is a big plus!
Responsibilities include:
Developing – under the direction of Account Directors, strategic planning documents (called Conceptual Decks) that provide creative guidance for new and existing opportunities and initiatives for our clients
Updating mission critical documents throughout pitches and program productions including: Activation Decks, Timelines, and Sponsor Documents
Assisting the production team with the execution of a program to make sure the work is coherent and aligned with planning objectives, elevated design and client expectations
Collaborating with teams in the art and production departments
Assisting with other projects such as helping develop the company’s blog, social media, and assisting with the agency's external marketing and PR efforts at the Founders discretion and direction
producer
The Gathery is currently looking for a Producer to execute various types of events locally, nationally and internationally. From the initial planning stages to the actual event day, this position requires a resourceful candidate who excels in communication skills, creative problem solving, is highly organized, detail oriented and client facing. In this role, you will be working directly with the Founders as they plan and execute internal and external events for clients. You must work well under pressure, have great people skills, be able to make decisions on the fly, manage event related tools, assist with scheduling and production and draft event summaries and meeting notes. Additionally, we seek candidates who are culturally savvy in tune with the worlds of art, design, fashion, music and travel. A background in luxury, media, hospitality and non-profit sectors are considered an asset.
Responsibilities include:
Project managing events direct with clients, and at times, in partnership with a Gathery Account Director or Creative Director
Developing and delivering projects from proposal to completion
Owning all mission critical documents throughout pitches and program productions including: Activation Decks, Timelines, Budgets, Sponsor Documents
Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to your team
Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships with professionalism and grace
Managing and maintaining critical vendor relationships, while identifying new ones to enhance our product
Creating, managing and adhering to budgets; executing them through our clear financial process and accounting team
Attending and leading meetings/presentations
Sponsorship outreach (at times)
Domestic and international travel to event venues for walk-throughs, venue inspection and event day coordination
You must have a Passport and Driver’s License
Talent booking and handling
Fluency in all Microsoft and Apple Office platforms, particularly Keynote, Excel, Mail, Calendar, and Word
Basic graphic design skills (proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign) are useful, but not required
