Summer Solstice

June 2022

Amazon Prime Video launched an unmatched summer line-up of binge-worthy reality shows at Santa Monica Proper. On summer solstice, a select group of influential guests and media were invited to the Prime Video Summer Solstice Party to discover the shows first-hand. The Gathery transformed the hotel property to develop and produce a series of activities that laddered back to each series, and hosted by shows’ talent — from Forever Summer: Hamptons cook off and Cosmic Love birth chart readings to Making the Cut Shibori Workshop, Hollywood Houselift with Jeff Lewis Ikebana Workshop and Lovestruck High Senior Photo Shoot. Guests were able to curate a bespoke itinerary, lending their interests to a day packed with fun-day camp for our loyal viewers.

At golden hour, our daytime activities wrapped, and the experience culminated with a private event at the sleek Calabra pool deck where VIP guests were photographed in front of a summer surf-inspired step and repeat installation.  As Betty Who performed a set atop a beachy sand-stage, all were invited to toast summer with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.
