Desert Hideaway

Tasked with designing a bespoke hospitality experience for H&M’s Coachella activation, The Gathery designed and produced a three-day experience inspired by the core characteristics of H&M’s Isla Hennes collection, a mythical goddess-inhabited island dotted with healing glowing rocks and meadows of extraordinary flora. For this experience H&M invited an exclusive group of influencers and celebrities to The Sands Hotel and Spa, a lauded hospitality oasis nestled within the arid desert of Coachella Valley, California. 

Enhancing The Sands’ signature pink façade and Moroccan-influenced touches, our design brought key campaign elements to life for our guests to experiment with imagination and style through robust content creation opportunities throughout the property and curated programming. 

Intentional, luxurious, and seamlessly integrated into the Coachella festival-goer experience, activations included elevated brunches, a tarot ‘style’ reader, talent-hosted cocktail hours and dinners, and a styling suite with complimentary hair and beauty appointments for photo-perfect and festival-forward glam. 

Whether inspired towards an experience of adventure or refuge during Coachella weekend, H&M Hideaway encouraged guests to transform into the strongest and most confident version of themselves in the spirit of achieving true goddess form.
