In 2020, Indeed—the #1 job site in the world—set out on an ambitious journey to break barriers and help people get jobs by transforming their online platform into a consumer-friendly immersive initiative. Bringing together thought leaders, local employers and national hiring partners to rally around job seekers across the country, the Indeed Job Market was born to reinvent the way people approach the job search.

Imagined as an 8-city tour of the United States, the experience kicked off in January 2020 hitting the nation’s capitol, Washington, D.C., followed by a visit to Atlanta, Georgia in late February. Over the course of two days, the initiative welcomed over 1,500 attendees to participate in intimate one-on-one job consultations, resume editing workshops, and to have a professional photographer capture their head-shot. Guest speakers like Chef & Humanitarian Jose Andrés and Sports Broadcaster Pam Oliver spoke candidly about their careers, sharing advice and inspiring local job-seekers. The program is set to relaunch in 2021, maintaining Indeed’s unwavering commitment to job seekers as they continue to navigate the job market.
