Ready to Work Out of Home

October 2022

To promote Indeed’s Ready to Work campaign—a coalition dedicated to connecting employers with quality candidates who are on their journey to find better work—The Gathery conceived an integrated strategy aimed at bringing awareness of the 5-city touring show. Activated online and IRL across five major U.S. cities (Chicago, Los Angles, Washington DC, Detroit, and Dallas) in fall 2022, the approach was both multi-channel and cross functional.

Promotional efforts included custom fabricated mailers sent to hiring managers, encouraging each to participate and connect with quality candidates seeking better work. Supported by traditional billboard and wheat paste advertising, we targeted Job Seekers in the cities Ready to Work that would be activating in.

To engage and excite Job Seekers further, we created an out-of-home activation that provided a teaser of the Ready to Work experience via a pop-up interview studio. In advance of the launch in each city, our highly designed shipping container took over neighboring parks, shopping centers and business districts. At each location Job Seekers could find resources for their job search presented through fun and engaging games. While visiting, each individual could receive one-on-one job consultations from Indeed team members.

All activity celebrated the Job Seeker and reinforced Indeed’s mission that better work leads to better lives.
