ST~GERMAIN

Elderflower Meadow

June 2019

The third annual Maison St-Germain celebrated the 1,000 fresh elderflowers used to craft every bottle of the French Liqueur.

The Gathery designed and produced a piece of experiential art that began at an unassuming French-inspired façade hidden within the industrial Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse.  Guests were greeted by an overwhelming floral scent enticing them to discover within.

Our “Elderflower Meadow”, a 1,200 square-foot, 12-ton installation of rolling green hills and thousands of living florals hanging 40-feet in the air, invited visitors to meander around and underneath prompting discovery.

For the very first time, St-Germain crossed the river to Brooklyn creating a weekend-long community-driven experience that was free and open to the public. During open hours, 10,000 visitors were invited to pluck from the meadow’s landscape and take home their favorite blooms. Brand tokens, distributed during consumer days, invited guests to taste St-Germain Spritzes at various hand-selected local bars.
