Fleuriste

August 2022

St~Germain Fleuriste made its second annual debut in New York, launched through a private showing for media and tastemakers and opened to consumers for the weekend. To celebrate the natural florals contained in each bottle, but given the current global flower shortage, The Gathery partnered with St~Germain to reimagined how we celebrate the vibrant spirit of the liqueur via a flower shop, sans live flowers. In collaboration with artistic visionaries Jameel Mohammed and Zoe Bradley, Fleuriste bloomed this year using unconventional materials and multi-sensory St~Germain cocktails — sharing joie de vivre in new & unexpected ways.

Designed by Jameel, illustrations framed the walls and were paired with grandiose paper florals by Zoe.  Guests were led to the signature St~Germain bar through a series of podiums displaying a curation of paper bouquets by Zoe. At the bar, guests enjoyed crafted cocktails that brought a sensorial dimension and lively aroma to the “flowerless” shop. Each day, guests were invited to partake in workshop hosted by Zoe herself, where they created seed paper boutonnieres to plant their own blooms. Evenings ended with a special performance by Jameel — encapsulating the vibrant energy of St~Germain. A salon space for all, Fleuriste brought those together to share new moments of joy, inspiration, and creativity.
