W Washington D.C. Reveal

For the reveal of the dramatic remodel of W Hotel’s Washington D.C. property, The Gathery developed and created a blowout event that showcased the hotel’s narrative-driven design through daring and immersive activations. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding physical, historical and cultural landscape coupled with W’s insatiable nightlife DNA, the theatrical evening solidified the centrally-located hotel as the ultimate social hub in the Capital.   

Guests were enticed to explore different areas where they discovered curated vignettes that enhanced the striking nuances of the hotel’s design. From a stylish live tableau featuring an unexpected take on US founding fathers and an interactive Cherry Blossom Bar to a photo booth inspired by the Oval Office and colossal dessert table complete with cakes fashioned as historical monuments, the night gave insiders a true taste of the W lifestyle inviting them to trade-in political differences and come together to fight for their Right to Party.
