Williamsburg_Chapter 02: MOVE

Global fashion retailer, H&M, tapped The Gathery to conceptualize, design and produce a year-long experimental retail store showcasing the best features of H&M fashion, each of which is experiential in design and accompanied by unique features for the fashion-conscious to explore their sense of style. 

For H&M MOVE — a collection that encourages all types of movement for everybody — The Gathery transformed the space into a kinetic playground showcasing MOVE’s latest pieces while offering daily programming from four Williamsburg fitness studios..

The anchor feature of H&M:Williamsburg was MOVE Studio, a space that challenged the boundaries and blurred the lines of what a fitness studio means. Outfitted with special LED lighting installations, the studio offered guests immersive chromotherapy alongside local fitness classes to elevate visitors physical and mental strength. The installation was launched with a special fitness class taught by Jane Fonda and choreographer JaQuel Knight.
